Back from Minnesota 2

June 1, I checked in to my flight before noon. I had couple hours til departure.
Delta flight NW19 to Tokyo 15:20.
I knew Chris Brooks was working at the ramp of this actual flight and was hoping to see him.
15:15 - The announcement said flight would be postponed to 15:45 due to mechanical problem.
Chris Brooks appeared at the gate 15:30 with full working gear, as I approached him.
He told me.,
"I got bad news. That thing is not going to fly today."
His advice was
"Go to that bar, get a seat now!!"
I spent next 3 hours drinking various kind of beers, got along with bar tender well, but his quote in the end was "You've gotta know how to order beer!!". I've drank alot during my stay in Minnesota, not one brand I remember. Now that's a bad drinker.

Delta airline got me a hotel. Soon as Chris knew which hotel I'd be staying, he said
"I'll be off at 21:00. We're drinking from 21:30."
My immediate reaction was
"Oh my god!!!"

That night, Chris and I drank, then came Karen and Tyler who I said good bye couple days ago.
Tyler's Karen's 21 years old son who's got great character. I told his mom that I'd be glad to look after him if he gets his ass to Japan. It was over 0:00 when we stopped drinking.

June 2nd - Around 10:00, NW19 to Tokyo departed. Reached my house around June 3rd 13:00.

Lucrative trip. Minnesota is something more than RKC to me. I think I told this to Fawn.

lol...you'll get the hang of the "airport bar" the more you become a "road warrior." Good luck at your event!
